GameChanger – 22.5 Crores (Phars)
Vishwambhara – 18 Crores (Sarigama)
OG – 17.5 Crores (Phars)
Only two more biggies Kalki 2898AD and Pushpa2
2 are not officially closed yet. May he Kalki 2898AD will have high pre release biz than Devara. Pushpa 2 may not be a big seller in the overseas market as Pushpa 1 also failed to make any big mark.
This clear dominance from Jr NTR shows the star power he has gained post RRR. Also, Jr NTR is riding high on double hatrick success and he is yet to register any average/flop movies since 2014. His last flop movie was Rabhasa, released in 2014. The main reason behind Devara pre release business is the story selection of Jr NTR. Another important point to be noted is Devara director Koratala Siva previous outing Acharya, starring Chiranjeevi and Ram Charan was an all time disaster at the box office.
